We are a large well established property development and lettings company based in Mansfield.

A vacancy has arisen within our tenancy team.

The successful applicant will show passion for supporting customers, especially those having difficulty in the management of their tenancy and payments. The role involves the ability to resolve issues head on through open and supportive dialogue.

You will be responsible for all aspects of tenancy management. You will be required to visit tenants in their own homes in order to resolve any tenancy issues, this includes routine inspections, attending to reports of anti-social behaviour, arrears chasing and providing assistance and advice in relation to benefits.

The successful candidate must be confident, have excellent administrative skills, be self motivated and driven.

Previous knowledge within a tenancy support role, benefits advice role or debt management would be useful, but more important is a passion to assist customers and the ability to empathise, as well as an aptitude to learn the framework for assessing, reviewing and representing on detailed benefit rules for entitlement.

You will have excellent communication/interpersonal skills and sound literary skills in order to communicate effectively with and make representation to partner agencies.

A full driving license and owning a vehicle is essential for this role.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9.00 till 5.30pm, (1 week day 10 till 6.30pm) and alternate Saturdays 9.00 till 1pm. (Part-Time considered)

Salary: £17,100.00 to £20,000.00 /year  (including Commission)
